Electronics systems for experiments group

Medipix hybrid pixel detectors produce images with high resolution, high contrast and almost no noise, making them excellent for use in medical imaging and a broad range of applications involving radiation detection.

Medipix presented at TEDx@CERN

by Michael Campbell

On May 3rd CERN hosted the TEDx@CERN event. Among the speakers was Dr. Becky Parker 'You're Never Too Young To Be a Research Scientist'. Becky and her students have been in contact with the ESE-based Medipix team for the last seven  years.

After several years of work the ESE group ready to deliver new devices and serviceses to the HEP community in the fields of: IC technologies and common building blocks (WP1), On-detector power distribution (WP2) and Radiation hard optical link (WP3).
