First Planck Results and Cosmological Implications

The ESA satellite Planck has measured CMB anisotropies over the full sky with unprecedented sensitivity. The collaboration has released its first CMB temperature maps on the 21st of March. Julien Lesgourgues presented a summary of these new CMB results, focusing mainly on their implications for our understanding of the Universe.
