CERN invites its neighbours to celebrate its 60th anniversary

Come and discover the fantastic research that’s being performed right on your doorstep.

CERN is organising a weekend of discovery especially for its neighbours, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May.
The programme includes:
•    Guided tours, demonstrations and lectures at LHC Point 5 in Cessy (the CMS experiment),
•    Guided tours of the LHCb experiment at Point 8 in Ferney-Voltaire,
•    Guided tours of the LHC at Point 4 in Echenevex.

The guided tours and demonstrations are all free.

Booking is required for the underground tours. Residents from the region can sign up directly via the website: www.cern.ch/voisins.

There are still places available for underground visits on 24 and 25 May. Thank you for spreading the information as this is one of the last chances to visit the LHC and the experimental caverns before the accelerator restarts later this year.
