EP-DT's Annual Report summarizes its yearly activities and offers an overview of major achievements and future collaborative plans.

Towards an FCC-hh Detector Magnet System

by Erwin Bielert, on behalf of the FCC-hh detector magnet working group

A new design for the FCC-hh detector magnet: towards a smaller, simpler and especially more cost-effective solution.

Recently, members of the EP department came up with a conceptual detector magnet design for the  Future Circular Collider-hh study. This is largely based on a “Twin Solenoid” design that features two concentric superconducting solenoids to cope with the requirements of the FCC-hh study.
