BASE

BASE probes antimatter - dark matter interaction

by Panagiotis Charitos

BASE experiment publishes first results from a direct search for the interacton between dark matter and antimatter, demonstrating the versatility of the experimental setup and paving the way for future measurements.

How heavy is the proton?

by Panos Charitos

Scientists working at the Baryon Antibaryon Symmetry Experiment (BASE) at CERN have contributed to the most precise measurement of a single proton's mass to date, advancing our understanding of nature and its symmetries.

The BASE Experiment

by Stefan Ulmer on behalf of the BASE Experiment

BASE collaboration, approved in 2013, will conduct Penning trap based high-precision investigations of the fundamental properties of protons and antiprotons providing stringent tests of the CPT symmetry.
